Lyris Inc. Names Blaine Mathieu Senior Vice President of Marketing
Mathieu to Drive Marketing Strategy, Brand Management and Lead Generation
EMERYVILLE, Calif.—Lyris, Inc. (OTCBB:JLHY), formerly J.L. Halsey, a leading provider of marketing technology solutions, today announced that Blaine Mathieu has joined the company as senior vice president of marketing.
As SVP of marketing, Mathieu is part of the executive team driving Lyris to become the leading provider of integrated marketing solutions for small- and middle-market companies. Key to his mandate is fostering a clear brand and product strategy based on the company’s new Lyris HQ integrated marketing technology platform, as well as product brands that include ListManager and EmailLabs email marketing solutions, ClickTracks Web analytics, and Hot Banana Web content management.

Most recently, Mathieu held the position of general manager and vice president of product and marketing at Corel Corporation. He was responsible for creating global marketing and product strategies for a wide range of software products targeted at consumers, businesses, and professionals. Mathieu also built Corel’s integrated marketing team, driving demand across both online and offline channels and implemented the company’s first-ever system for closed-loop tracking of marketing performance.
During the course of his career, Mathieu held a variety of senior management positions at Corel Corporation, Adobe Systems Incorporated, Gartner Group and a range of other companies. He received his MBA from Athabasca University in Canada in 1999, and his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta in 1989.
