Lyris, Inc. Launches Lyris HQ - an Integrated Platform Offering Single Sign-on for Core Marketing Technologies
- Integrates Email, Web Analytics, Content Management and New PPC Campaign Management Tool Into All-Encompassing Dashboard Interface
EMERYVILLE, Calif.—Lyris, Inc., (OTCBB:LYRI.OB), previously known as J.L. Halsey, today unveiled Lyris HQ – an on-demand marketing platform that brings together the company’s full suite of marketing technologies into a single sign-on dashboard interface.
In a related announcement, Lyris today unveiled BidHero – a Web-based PPC campaign management solution that enables marketers to set up and manage keyword bidding for multiple search engines and other ad networks through the HQ interface.
Lyris HQ is the only product to give marketers a centralized place from which to manage email marketing, Web analytics, Web content management and PPC campaign management – with one vendor, one bill and one source for customer support. For more information on Lyris HQ, visit www.lyris.com/hq.
Using the Lyris HQ dashboard interface, clients can schedule and manage email campaigns, coordinate Web content management, oversee and update PPC keyword bidding, access reports analyzing various key performance indicators for all applications and make adjustments as necessary.
Other features include a full-functioning calendar to track schedules across all applications, a message board for communicating with team members and a resource center where customers can access videos and whitepapers sharing best practices and tips on how to improve performance and increase ROI.
Other key aspects of Lyris HQ include the use of Rich Internet Application technology and a new pricing model. The Lyris HQ interface was developed using Adobe’s Flex technology and provides users a much richer and highly interactive experience. For example, when drilling down on a campaign report, the new report data loads within the existing page – eliminating a new page having to load as in a traditional Web-based application. The Flex-based interface provides a “desktop-like” application experience that, for example, allows users to drag projects in the marketing calendar to a new day or time.
Lyris HQ will be sold on a per-seat pricing basis that starts at $199 per month. As a Lyris HQ client, users will have access to Lyris solutions including the EmailLabs email marketing application, ClickTracks Web analytics, Hot Banana Web content management, BidHero, a pay-per-click campaign management tool and EmailAdvisor, an email deliverability monitoring tool. A Lyris HQ user, for example, can send up to 5,000 emails per month for free through the EmailLabs application, and are then charged on a tiered volume-basis above the 5,000 emails. Each of the other Lyris solutions is also available to users for free up to certain usage levels and are then charged on a tiered basis.
“We’re simplifying things for marketers by giving them one place from which to manage all aspects of their online campaigns,” said Luis Rivera, Lyris CEO. “Marketers tell us they’re overwhelmed with so many technology tools from different vendors all working separately. With Lyris HQ, we’re seamlessly combining the features and functionality of formerly distinct technologies, so marketers can be more effective – with fewer tools to juggle. This product is a key milestone toward integration of our suite of marketing solutions.”
The launch of Lyris HQ is the latest in a series of achievements for the company as it moves closer to its goal of providing marketers with a platform that integrates core marketing technologies. Over the past two years the company has acquired four leading marketing software companies – Lyris Technologies, EmailLabs, ClickTracks and Hot Banana – assembling under one entity the core marketing technologies of email marketing, Web analytics, Web content management and, with today’s launch of BidHero, PPC campaign management.
Other company and product integration milestones:
- Earlier this week, Lyris announced that Trellian’s keyword discovery and competitive intelligence tools will be integrated into BidHero. Among other functions, this pairing will allow HQ clients to research keywords, buy them on the spot and discover what keywords their competitors are using – helping them improve PPC campaigns and increase return on investment.
- In October, the company officially changed its name from J.L. Halsey to Lyris, Inc.
- In September, the company tightly coupled its ClickTracks Web analytics solution with its popular email marketing platform, Lyris ListManager – expanding email marketers’ insight into post-email behavior.
- In August the company announced the consolidation of its management and operations across all acquisitions into a single, integrated company.
